D Magazine "Best Lawyers Under 40 In Dallas"

Kirk F. Lechtenberger was selected as one of D Magazine's "Best Criminal Lawyers Under 40 In Dallas" for 2004.

To identify the best, publishers of D Magazine asked more than 5,000 of Dallas' attorneys to recommend their peers in more than 20 areas of practice. Attorneys were asked to nominate their short list of two colleagues from outside their own firm. Each lawyer was also asked to nominate one colleague from within their firm, though same firm votes carried less weight than outside firm votes.

An outside firm was hired to receive and tabulate all the ballots. Once the votes were counted, an executive panel consisting of several of Dallas' most respected lawyers and the publisher of D Magazine reviewed the winners carefully before finalizing the list.
